"Eating out is the new rock and roll"

Restaurants and pubs across Shropshire are enjoying a new boom because many householders are simply too lazy to cook their own dinner, it was revealed today.
The trend mirrors a national phenomenon where people are refusing to cook at home because they would rather eat out.
Experts say there is a new generation of people whose motto is 'Can't Cook, Won't Cook, Can't Be Bothered'.
And those people are helping to send profits spiralling among restaurants and pubs who are dishing up their meals.
Henry Phillips, managing partner at The Hundred House Inn, at Norton, near Telford, said: "There has been an upsurge in interest in eating out and we are welcoming more and more people here.
"We are fortunate in Shropshire that the quality of ingredients is so good and that we have so many good chefs.
"There is a definite 'We'll Treat Ourselves' attitude among our diners and there is also a greater interest in the food we serve and how it is prepared."
The phenomenon was spotted by market analyst Mintel, which conducted a survey of 2,000 people.........
