We’re super proud that everything on our Menus’ is made from scratch onsite, often using fresh fruit and herbs grown in our working kitchen garden, that you’re welcome to wander around at your leisure.

The interior is a blend of traditional brickwork, beams and quarry tiles with herbs from the garden hanging from the ceiling and richly coloured patchwork leaded lanterns. Sylvia’s Artwork hangs on the walls and there are Herb & flowers posies on every table picked fresh from our gardens. The style is often described as “quirky” and our visitor book is often full of lovely quotes such as “The most magical place I’ve ever been” & “I felt like a child entering a Secret Garden”

It’s super easy, just pop in your details, confirm and you’ll be emailed a confirmation within a jiffy!

Should your requirements change or need to cancel, you can do so off your confirmation email in moments!

Just a few things to mention...

TABLES CANNOT BE BOOK ONLINE ON SUNDAY’S –  As we have 4 sittings on a Sunday, we have “closed out” every Sunday in order for us to make sure seating is spaced out correctly and you plenty of space at the right time! To book for a Sunday, please contact the Hotel by telephone on 01952 580240. You can also drop us a message on anyone of our contact pages, however as they aren’t picked up in “realtime” we recommended calling if you need a table within 24 hours.

GROUP BOOKINGS – The online diary will let you book up to 8 people, if your party is bigger than 8 please contact the Hotel direct on 01952 580240 as we require a few more details in order to make your visit super smooth and a deposit of £10 per person.

SAYING NO TABLES AVAILABLE? – If for any reason there doesn’t look like we have a table available – please do call us, we may well just be able to jiggle things about and fit you in 🙂

LEAVE US A MESSAGE – If it’s a special occasion, you have any mobility issues or dietary requirements, need a highchair or space for a pram, would like to bring a dog or anything else at all, just leave us a note in the comments section and this will get allocated to your booking for our Restaurant Manger to see.

ANYTHING WE NEED TO KNOW? – This system is new for us in Summer 2022, like anything new, it could have glitches, only time will tell! If you have any feedback, good and bad, we’d love to hear it!

Stuart encompasses the best produce that Shropshire has to offer along with a choice of around 50 fresh herbs from Henry’s Herb garden, which you are more than welcome to stroll around whilst you visit us!

Stuart trained in Michelin star Restaurants in France and on home soil. He is passionate about using the best quality, seasonal, local produce in our state of the art kitchen, using techniques that deliver amazing flavours you’ll want more of.
