Funeral Wakes & Post Funeral Reception
Here at The Hundred House we understand what a difficult and upsetting time this can be. A time when care is needed, both to give your loved one a fitting celebration of their life, whilst also sheltering yourself from the stress of organising, staffing and catering for such an event.
Our professional and friendly staff will ensure that all details are taken care of, in beautiful surroundings with delicious homemade food. We have 4 different areas to host in, if you would like to view the different areas in person, in order to choose which one would suit your needs the best, please do give us a call and arrange a viewing. Hire cost includes staffing, use of our decor & centerpieces, cleaning and in the case of the Barn, linen tablecloth’s.
The Brasserie or The Courtroom
Hire Price – £50
Our private rooms within the Hotel, The Brasserie is ideal for more intimate Wakes of up to 20 guests, or The Courtroom has space for up to 35 guests.
Tithe Barn
Hire Price – From £350 Monday-Thursday.
Our 17th Century Oak Tithe Barn, complete with it’s own bar, decor and hundreds of twinkling fairy lights in the beams is perfect for between 35 -120 guests.

Garden Marquee
Hire Price – £250
Our beautiful all weather Marquee, within the Hotel Gardens, has a private bar and is ideal for Wakes of between 35 – 80 guests.
We booked The Hundred House for a Wake and we can 100% recommend it. The Service, Food, Value and Atmosphere were outstanding and holding our gathering there really made our sad day much more bearable.
Their fine attention to detail and genuine desire to make sure that everyone was looked after really was commendable and I would not hesitate to book again for other occasions or a family meal in the future. A+++++ Hundred House – Thank You!!

We have 10 bedrooms onsite, should you or any of your guests wish to stay the night before or after the funeral. The Hundred House is a tranquil Countryside Venue, the perfect place to reflect on memories of your loved one.

We are located on the A442 between Telford and Bridgnorth, just 14 minutes drive from Telford Crematorium, with many Churches also within easy reach.
The Hotel, Marquee and Barn all have a fully stocked bar and plenty of free parking is offered.
